Kerala social & Cultural Association was founded by like-minded Nair community members in Bahrain in the year 1982 to help suffering expatriate Indians and Keralites in particular working in Kingdom of Bahrain. Charity, Social and Cultural activities are the main objectives of the association.  The association has become one of the leading Indian associations registered with the Ministry of Social Development due to the selfless services of the members and goodwill of the Government of Kingdom of Bahrain. The association has earned a name for itself due to dedication of its members in the last 25 years.

The vision of the association is to integrate community members, cooperate with other communities and societies to ensure peace, development and prosperity for all; organize Charitable Services for the benefit of people affected by natural calamities, accidents, poverty, misfortune and illness; organize social and cultural activities for the benefit of members to maintain and develop our own culture and language and also to organize cultural exchange programmes.

We also offer morale support for our members in Bahrain and those left for India and other parts of the world by maintaining regular contacts with them and supporting them wherever necessary.  Members are encouraged to contribute individually to charitable programme back home for the development of the community members and institutions. Members shall also get actively involved in the development of Nair community and our unique social and cultural heritage in India and elsewhere within the global Nair community members.
